About Alderley
Alderley plc is a multi-disciplined engineering company operating in the oil, gas and petrochemical industries. With over 45 years experience in oilfield engineering solutions, Alderley can provide the correct solution to meet your individual project requirements. This experience coupled with our flexibility as systems integrators has provided us with the capability to offer some of the most effective and efficient solutions for the metering, processing, treatment and control of all hydrocarbon products.
METERING
Our first metering system was produced in 1959 and since then Alderley has led the way in hydrocarbon metering solutions, achieving significant milestones along the way. To complement the major systems, Alderley also design and manufacture a range of ancillary systems, such as sampling/density loops, gas analysis houses, control panels and the Alderley HAWK supervisory system.
PRODUCED WATER TREATMENT AND WATER INJECTION
Our scope includes the design and manufacture of produced water treatment systems incorporating one or more stages capable of reducing oil-in-water levels to less than 0.5ppm; and water injection systems for enhanced oil recovery. A wide range of process units can be supplied to suit the individual project requirements, including hydrocyclones for oil and solids removal, flotation and degassing units, coalescing, filtration and deaeration technologies.
CONTROLS
Our wellhead control systems provide operators with a complete well control system, designed for the most arduous environments. Our scope also includes the supply of metering control systems and safety systems.
HYDRAULIC WELLHEAD CONTROL SYSTEMS
Specialised Management Services (SMS) strengthens the quality range of products and services that Alderley can offer, incorporating further knowledge and experience with wellhead control systems, and providing extended customer care solutions (consultancy, commissioning, system maintenance, servicing and staff training).

Oil prices fell to a nearly 22-month low on Wednesday after a US government report showed a bigger-than-expected rise in crude inventories, heightening speculation that demand for petroleum products is waning. US crude for December delivery fell 77 cents to $53.62 a barrel. The last time prices were this low was January 2007.
Bahrain has unveiled an ambitious plan to expand its onshore oilfield, reported Gulf Daily News. Three companies - ExxonMobil, Occidental and Maersk - have been shortlisted for the project, which is expected to cost up to $5bn. However, the contract winner will develop and renovate the oilfield for free - with a deal to be hammered out later depending on the success of the project. Bahrain's Oil and Gas Affairs Minister Dr Abdulhussain Mirza said the expansion could lead to a 100% increase in the country's oil output, which now stands at 33,000 barrels per day.
Qatar Petroleum has signed an oil and gas exploration and production sharing agreement with German firm Wintershall Holding for Qatar Offshore Block-4N (Khuff). The terms of this 25-year agreement call for an initial 30-month exploration period during which Wintershall Holding will undertake a work program comprising technical studies, acquisition of 2-D and 3-D seismic data, processing, re-processing, interpretation and exploratory drilling to Khuff formation. All relevant operations and studies will be conducted with QP supervision. Pending the results, hydrocarbon development will be carried out.
